Quayside Team Riders go Racing!!

I can exclusively announce here that Quayside Team Riders will be entering the UK Windsurfing Association Slalom and Freestyle series for the 2009 season. The team will be competing at locations around the UK and will race standard Rrd boards and Severne sails. The Team will be called originally ' Team Quayside' and will be sponsored by Greentrees Adventurestore Ltd, providing a motorhome for the Team to use to relax and providing livery for the vehicles and kit. Confirmed riders are Neil Greentree ( Slalom) and Pete Morris
( Freestyle).

Quayside Windsurfers owner and Team Rider said " I felt that Quayside could be represented nationally by entering the UKWA events. It will us a chance to meet all our customers around the UK and show everyone that you can use standard windsurf kit to race nationally". Neil will keep you abreast of how they get on and if anyone is interested in joining us at one of the events just give us a call.

so..........I did it!!

No seriously. I did the dirty deed and married Sara, my partner and best mate for the last five years. The day was fabulous and it was fantastic to see a lot of the local sailors come along and wish us well for the future. Sara has got to know all the local sailors over the years, and is one of the only wives who can actually judge my sail size on any one day BETTER than I can!
