This morning I set off at 6.00am to head to Wells on the promise of winds force 5 - 6 and classic Wells northerly conditions. On setting off from Dereham ( about 30mins from Wells) there wasn't a breath of wind and my doubts starting creeping in. My check of the forecast @ 5.00am had still promised good winds so I gambled on wind on the coast.
I got to Wells to no wind at all, but almost as if the gods had decided to reward my commitment, I was treated to a spectacular sunrise lifting over the easterly marshes of Wells......
There's good wind promised for Monday morning but no guarantee's............ I'll be there.
