Severne Booms NOW available!

We now have the NEW line of Severne continuous alloy booms and carbon booms in stock. Ben Severne took over six months ensuring the quality would be right. He finally took the Aeron boom and redesigned the head clamp and made a few changes to the carbon thickness. The result is the Blueline range of continuous alloy 29mm booms, and Redline Carbon 26mm grip range.

"I use the Blueline range myself and find them extremely stiff and yet comfortable" said Neil Greentree - QSW Owner / UKWA Racer.

sometimes things just....work out!

Me and team rider and fellow UKWA slalom competitor Steve C had been watching the weather forecasts over the last few days and today was shaping up to be a nice slalom run day at local spot Wells-Next-the-Sea.
We set off this morning but as we made our way up to the North Norfolk coast it became obvious that the wind gods were going to play silly buggers!. We were met with not a breath of wind in Wells outer harbour.
With nothing better to do we went for a stroll out to the West Bank and my day was to get a whole lot better. Out on the outer bar we were greeted with a pod of seals, 12 of them, bathing on the beach, playing in the water, and when Steve and I quietly edged close enough to take the photo, even came within 10 metres of the waters edge with a curious confidence that was amazing.

We're quite often lucky enough to sail with these wonderful animals on the North Norfolk coast, and from time to time, they'll pop their heads above the water metres from where you are water starting - but I've never had the pleasure of seeing 12 seals on my local beach up close and personal!

The NEW Tushingham Storm lands @ QSW

Bill White, a local sailor at Hickling Broad and loyal customer of QSW has eagerly been waiting for the all new Tushingham Storm F10 to come out so last week we finally got the 5.75mtr Storm F10 in for him and rigged it on our sail table.
It looks awesome and rigs really well, setting up with a looser leech than the previous model so I guess it should feel even more stable than its predecessor. Quality of build is definitely better and it looks to be a top flight power wave / freeride contender.

Enjoy Bill!
